The Monolith Deathcult

death death metal industrial metal

Biografie

The Monolith Deathcult is a Dutch death metal band formed in 2002, known for their ambitious fusion of brutal death metal with industrial, symphonic, and electronic elements. The band debuted with The Apotheosis (2003) and steadily evolved their style with albums like Trivmvirate (2008) and Tetragrammaton (2013), where cinematic soundscapes and complex arrangements became key features. In recent years, their V trilogy (Versus, Vergelding, and Vile) showcased their ability to blend aggressive riffing with bombastic orchestration and modern production. The Monolith Deathcult has released a total of 9 full-length studio albums. With each release, The Monolith Deathcult continues to challenge the boundaries of the genre—combining relentless heaviness with layered compositions, immersive atmospheres, and a strong sense of identity. Their live shows are equally intense, delivering a wall of sound that captivates both seasoned metal fans and newcomers alike.
