Subspectral

Subspectral brings chunky riffs, progressive rhythms, and surprising song structures, but also melody. They play progressive metal with a dynamic touch, where experimentation is embraced, yet it’s also allowed to simply rock. The band switches effortlessly from hard and heavy to melodic passages, always with the song in mind. Their music springs from the heart and resists categorization; it’s music to experience. In 2022, Subspectral released their debut, I. The album received widespread praise from the press and was frequently played on Dutch metal radio. The band soon found their way to the stage, and in 2024, they recorded their upcoming second EP, set for release in 2025. Subspectral is on track to becoming one of the defining Dutch voices in progressive metal.
