Be different. Be Odd. Music that provides an escape from daily life and the daily dialogue, and where the aim is to identify people’s darkest, purest and most passionate obsessions. Odd Obsessions’ first record ‘Self-reflection Of A Pessimist’, marking their official debut, demonstrated what the band is all about. Introspective and reflective themes combined with energetic, dark and vibrant influences, demonstrating significant imprints of rock and roll in each song. ‘Self-reflection Of A Pessimist’ by Odd Obsessions was acclaimed as one of the revelations of the ‘Sounds Of Hell’ collaboration by Zware Metalen for its abrasive, ripping guitar riffs and solid production. In 2022, Odd Obsessions kicked off their first tour post pandemic, playing local shows across The Netherlands on various occasions. In 2024, the band will keep continuing their travel across the Benelux after releasing their first full length studio album 'Condone By Silence' in 2023, celebrated with a release party in a sold out Willem II in Den Bosch and by supporting Phil Campbell (Mötorhead) & the Bastard Sons for their NL gigs.
