Deafened to Dead

Deafened To Death is a hardcore band from Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. The band was founded by Dylan Luci Wolters (guitar) and Olav Spin (bass) from the grinding deathcore band Kletus, and was initially a side project during the COVID pandemic in 2020. Jim Smit (drums) joined the band shortly after the formation. Arend Rondaan (vocals) joined the band in the beginning of 2024. D.T.D plays straight forward and raw hardcore with metal influences. There’s no need for conceptual or pretentious thinking. It’s just hardcore. Music and lyrics are straight from the heart. D.T.D honors the old school hardcore by not just playing the riffs, but also by tearing the stage apart. Their debut album was released on June 21st, 2024.
