Acid Attack

Acid Attack was formed by guitarists Mark Doeland and Luuk Verweij and bassist Youri ter Steege in 2016. With the addition of drummer Roel van Ellinckhuijzen at the start of 2019, the core lineup was strengthened. The band’s music is heavily inspired by 80s heavy metal and takes influences from modern bands. Thus creating their own unique sound. The songs are based on driving riffs and harmonic melodies supported by adventurous drum parts and bass lines. At the start of 2023 the band released the EP Face The Past with vocalist Julius Kortekaas. After the release of the EP the band and Julius parted ways. The position of vocalist was taken over by ex-drummer Kayleigh Lieverse. With the current lineup, the band made 2024 their most active year yet. Their new single is set to be released at the start of 2025.
